Light Pollution from LED Street Light

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

LED street lamp is projecting light into adjacent garden and rear rooms of property. Rear of garden is unable to be in the dark due to light pollution.

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

  • The unit is 005 however the lamp is to the north of the picture, not as currently within the picture. The unit shines into the property on the adjacent road, Queens Close.

  • Sorry to hear of this issue, we have found the column so many thanks for the update, we will ask for a front shield to be fitted in the hope it blocks the glare into the garden, apologies for the inconvenience
