Dangerous construction on road

Hi. Kennington Road, Radley - Redrow Development at Pebble Hill. At the Northern entrance to the development (by Show House) the Redrow have built and entrance. Part of this involves a kerbed area which appears to extend between 0.5 and 1 metre into the roadway. The effect of this is that cyclists are forced to move out to avoid hitting it and I have seen several near misses where cyclists have nearly been hit. The area they have built is significantly narrower than the main roadway. I spoke to planners and they said I should contact you as it is subject to a section 278 agreement. If the construction is compliant then the approach road must be narrowed to prevent injury or death. It can't be right that the contractor has a right to narrow the road like this. Even before the current gas works were started the road was considerably wider than the constructed entrance. Obviously someone else also thinks this is dangerous as they have now put a cone on the obstructing kerb. As an aside, this road need to be as wide as possible as it is a main cycle route and is well used by cyclists.

This issue is yet to be resolved - the new kerb is still in place and hazardous. Please could you provide an update on when this will be re-aligned? Thanks.
