Dangerous crossing - road markings needed
Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 16:29, Saturday 8 August 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Crossing the short curved section of Green Road adjacent to the roundabout, to/from the pedestrian underpass to Risinghurst, there is no clue as to whether motorised traffic may suddenly appear, and form which direction. I feel that "Look right" and "Look left" signs painted on the carriageway would assist safety here.

Thank you for your report. We would not be able to put "look left" or "look right" messages here as it would be advisable to look in both directions as when crossing a normal road. While it is one way for motor traffic exiting the round-a-bout here, a cyclist could be on the carriageway from either direction.
State changed to: Investigation complete
