Cycle Lane Expansion has left central section too narrow

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 18:43, Fri 7 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The cycle lanes across Magdalen Bridge have been widened, and the centre line along the road removed. I have just driven over the bridge for the first time since the changes and a bus was coming towards me and there was not enough room for a bus and a car to pass each other safely, let alone two buses (and there are lots of buses crossing the bridge). How is this meant to work? One vehicle is forced to move into the cycle lane to pass the other.
