Hedgerow is now so large and dense. Obstructing adequate vision when approaching the chicane.

This chicane is very badly positioned for traffic approaching from the Steventon direction. In winter when the hedge row is bare you have line of sight through it and are able to see oncoming traffic. When the hedge is fully in leaf, that vision is obscured to the point that it's dangerous. By the time you have committed to passing through the chicane a vehicle coming from the other way is already bearing down on you in a head on situation. This is made worse when oncoming traffic is not obeying the 30 mph speed limit, which to honest is most of time. Those flashy speed signs really don't seem to reduce speed at that point. The speed hump in the road just inflames the whole situation when confronted with a head on angry driver. i have had many near misses here and it's time for you to have another look to see if it can be made safer. Thanks.
