Patricia Crowley

Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:02, Thu 6 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The 'dropped curb' hasn't been reinstated since the road was resurfaced many months ago. My husband is a wheelchair user and can't now proceed down this footpath to get the pedestrian crossing. This has been reported before. Please, please, please fix this before the autumn comes as he won't be visible moving along the road instead of on the footpath in his powerchair.

  • Thank you for reporting this. We have not finished snagging the site and there are still outstanding items from the Road Safety Audit to be addressed. Please can you confirm the exact property or location, we can then make sure these works are included on any remedial lists we provide to the developer. Please email roadagreements@oxfordshire.gov.uk.

There was a Road Safety Audit item, specific to the existing pedestrian crossing with no tactiles. If this is the same location, then the developer is aware that it will need to be addressed with the associated dropped kerb and tactile slab installation.

    Kind regards
