Outside 16 Horsecroft, Stanford in the Vale, SN7 8LL

Reported anonymously at 21:26, Tue 4 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

A while back a traffic bollard was dumped on a verge along Horsecroft in Stanford in the Vale. I reported it on Fix My Street but nothing was ever done about it. (The bollard briefly went walkabout but was then found in the river Ock. It was returned to the verge in the hope that it would be collected but the local youths found it a great source of amusement to keep throwing it in the river. One afternoon I found it dumped outside above property so I have placed it out of further harms way. Would you be able to arrange for its collection or point me in the direction of who I should contact to remove it please?

  • Thank you for your report. It is a traffic cone not a bollard, and is being left in situ until the pothole next to it is repaired & then the gang will take it away.
