Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 10:16, Monday 3 August 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
A number of large 'residents only' parking signs have appeared along Wharf Road. Can you please confirm if these are legal signs that have been placed by the Highways Department or not? If not then will they be removed by yourselves?
A number of local residents use the wharf and regularly park there. They were under the impression that the road and the wharf at the end were public areas rather than a private road - they are very confused by these signs and whether they need to be complied with.
