Traffic frequently breaking the speed limit

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:08, Sat 1 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The B4022 is a very busy residential road. Cars are parked on one side. Bus stops are on both sides. There have always been drivers going up and down the road exceeding the speed limit. In the past few weeks, I have been aware of drivers and motorcyclists driving very fast on the road. People getting off the buses, crossing the road to go into Witney or crossing with children to go the park in King George V playing fields are in more danger than ever before because of these speeding vehicles. Trying to emerge from our drive onto the road is becoming more hazardous because of the speed of approaching traffic from both directions. The average speed past our house is well over the 30mile an hour limit and the noise from the traffic as it goes so fast is very loud.
