Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I previously reported this problem, which you rejected saying that it was the responsibility of adjacent land owners. Almost the entire length of Widnell Lane has vegetation overhanging the road. I walked down Widnell Lane and found that the adjacent land is mostly defined by fencing, which at some points is 5m from the roadway. I do not see how land owners can be held responsible for hedges that are outside their property. Please could you look again at the problem. Thank you.

This report has been closed. However after researching the area and cross referencing maps, it seems the large area of hedging that is starting to effect the highway is on Non-Registered land and is therefore not maintained by anyone. Due to this we as a council have made the decision to add this to our cut back list for a full chop. This will be attended to as soon as possible. regards.
