Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
The trees that border West Witney school on Chedworth Drive are so large and unkept that the footpaths are dangerous where the roots have crumbled and destroyed the footpaths making them uneven.
Countless children have tripped on them on their way to school and with the subsidence issues on Deer Park, we are highly concerbed about how close these are to our house which faces them. We do not want to have subsidence caused by these trees.

Thank you for your enquiry. Regarding this issue mentioned about foot way surface, this is something I will be discussing with colleagues in foot way surfacing. In relation to concerns about subsidence if you feel your property is at risk please follow the below web form. https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ residents/ roads-and-transport/ street-maintenance-z/ compensation, though I would highlight that the trees along this stretch are in the ownership of the school rather than highway trees. I will also be making contact with the school regarding maintenance of trees adjacent to the foot way.
