We live next to the Gingebrook, and we have a very serious problem, as outside our house people come to feed the ducks, and the trouble is that it is almost a drop of four feet to the water. Two children this year have fallen in here, and although they were got out easily the next time this happens the water might be deeper, and it might be a much more serious case. And obviously a child could drown, it is an accident waiting to happen. Also in February there was a flood which covered the road and the brook, amazing nothing happened but again next time it might. So we would like to put a fence up (at our cost ) it would be apicket fence the same as we already have up round our garden. The fence would be put up next to the brook, and therefore we hope you will allow us to do it, before another accident happens. Thank you.
