Persistent failure to drain cycle lane

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 12:27, Sunday 26 July 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The gully in the Banbury Road just north of the war memorial at St Giles church fails to drain. in heavy rain it fills the road to the crown, and across the pavement. Standing water then stays there for a day or more after the rain has stopped, filling the whole width of the cycle lane. This problem has persisted for several years, and repeated clearing of the catchpit does not seem to have improved matters.
