New cycle path, the section from Lockinge through to Ardington by Christopher’s Wood.

The entrance to the path on the Lockinge side has had a wide concrete driveway constructed. In the short time this has been down I have been made aware that both a delivery van and the refuge collection lorry have been down the path mistaking it for the road to our West Lockinge houses. The pathway has also been used as a parking area which blocks access for anyone wanting to use it as a pathway. May I suggest that to discourage vehicles parking in it, and travelling down it, you consider putting sympathetic bollards at the entrance. I would be very happy, as a concerned resident, to meet with anyone to discuss my concerns

We are currently monitoring the situation. Following assessment, it will be determined whether additional bollards would be suitable. Further signage in this location is due shortly and this should alert people to this path being a bridleway, not a byway.
