Severely ovegrown hedge obstructing pavement

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 10:59, Thursday 16 July 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedge at the junction of West End Road and Station Road is severly overgrown. The photographs were taken at the end of May and the hedge is far worse now. Pedestrians are forced to walk on the road and drivers cannot see properly when exiting from West End Road. We have reported this before and have been told that it is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. We have been in touch with residents who inform us that the hedge is outside their boundary and not their responsibility. We have been informed that Oxfordshire County Council has cut the hedge in the past. This is now a serious safety issue and we request that it is dealt with as a matter of urgency.
