Tree roots causing a tripping hazard

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is a footpath behind 23 and 25 Lawrence Way Bicester and i walk that way for my daily exercise. yesterday when out walking I stumbled on the roots of a tree in the footpath, the tree is a trip hazard

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense by OCC in the County‚Äôs capacity as local highway authority. The trees are on land that is maintainable by the Local Town Council and not by the County Council. We endeavour to transfer this enquiry to them; however, you may also wish to contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.
