Hedge and verge encroaching >1m over White Lane, road signs removed. Safety and Access problem
Reported in the Grass category anonymously at 17:17, Tue 7 July 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Hedge and verge on White Lane adjacent to Sarcens has encroached more than 1 metre over White Lane making it unacceptably narrow and hampering access for emergence services, dustcarts and delivery vehicles. It is causing scratches to vehicles and is dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists as there is no room for them and vehicles to pass safely. It needs action to get the hedge moved back. Problem has been going on for over a year. Also safety road signs which became covered by the hedge have been discretely removed!!

Why had this not been resolved? How can someone unilaterally decide to grow a hedge outside of their property and then surreptitiously remove road signs? This has to be against the law. My car is not wide but is being ruined by said hedge. Coming out of white Lane joining bix Lane I have seen many near misses with cats dogs horses people taxis bikes. I had not realised until this post that is was a meter over the road. Pls update on action being taken
