Roundabout and islands infrastructure needs weeding and a cleanup. Nearby residents report inconsiderate through traffic and request zebra crossings.

  • After further visits to this junction, the roundabout gets in the way of pram and infants route from Caldecott Chase to the best footpath along Caldecott Rd. Could the whole roundabout be removed, and Blacknall Road either extended or given pedestrian road crossing islands, a zebra crossing, pram ramps, and a new smaller mini-roundabout be designed here ?

  • the refurbishment of the chevron blocks around the roundabout has been added to the schedule of works for when funding becomes available. With regard to a crossing point, there is already a crossing point including a centre refuge on the western side of the roundabout.
