Tree roots causing damage to footpath and driveway.

These roots have been causing damage for quite a few years now (blocked drains, dangerous footpath not accessible for wheelchair users and damaged underground cables). The tree almost covers the front of my property leaving a constant mess of leaves, nuts, husks and sap on the cars and driveway.
