Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later
There is stretch of river bank along Wilsham rd, Abingdon roughly between the junctions of Saxton and Preston roads, I'm told by the Environment Agency that the plethora of unlicensed and un-river-worthy boats moored against and tied to the river bank there is, as owner of that bank/parcel of land, entirely your responsibility? The boats, moored head to toe are now blocking access to the river, that includes for the purpose of fishing and generally enjoying the Environment as well as to launch and recover paddle boards, canoes etc. Can we begin dialog with all stakeholders, i.e. the town council (issuing fishing permits) the vale who employ a mooring officer, and the E.A who are responsible for issuing annual boat licenses? I look forward to your positive reply.
