Fallen branches and tree growth
Reported in the Report a tree problem category by R James at 06:28, Thu 2 July 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
As previously reported we have issues with road marking lost due to tree growth and fallen branches on the one way section of station lane. No road marking visible on the left hand side. Considering this location, next to the church, alms houses and other Graded properties I am surprised how this area has become so over grown . I would consider the height of these trees and their conditions to be off concern .

Thank you for your enquiry. Also I really appreciate you attaching photos with the enquiry. It helps us identify the mentioned issue greatly. The trees and location has been assessed. Upon inspection it was found that vegetation is incurring into the carriageway and further obscuring road markings in place. Therefore I have specified that this area but cut back from the carriage way to abate the obstruction and also allow for road markings to be visible to traffic. This will be carried out as part of planned programmed work, within leaf season. Thank you for highlighting this issue.
