On Stoke Row Road, near junction with Esther Carling Lane
Reported in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 21:05, Mon 29 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Dead tree on the grass verge, residential side of the road. if this tree falls it will hit the road or our hedge at Garden House, Stoke Row road, RG95NG. Could be honey fungus as our lawn is also dying nearby. We cannot access this tree as it is covered by other trees and bushes that no one has ever looked after in 15 years of our occupation so the verge is very overgrown. We do not know who is responsible for the verge and trees, please investigate/visit as a priority because if it is Honey fungus, action needs to be taken quickly to prevent more damage. The verge could be cleared of all trees as far as we are concerned but do not damage our laurel hedge which denotes our boundary and therefore tells us it is not our property

We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees are on land not deemed to be part of the publicly maintained highway by Oxfordshire County Council in our capacity as local highway authority. You are advised to contact Land Registry to determine who is responsible for the land on which the trees are growing and therefore, have the responsibility for the trees.
