Limited access to properties after rainfall

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 20:22, Mon 29 June 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Oxford CC ref 2088086 The above reference was established in April by the owner of Wycliffe, most affected by the flooding. The area between Wycliffe and our property Avonlea has a gradient causing any rainfall to flow towards the properties, The immediate levels outside the properties have deteriorated with the increasing number of heavy vehicles parking and unloading on the pavements outside. As it is now some months since the matter was raised we would like a visit expediently to see what can be done. I am very willing to have any remedial work done in unison with Wycliffe as we are both experiencing this problem.

Council ref: ENQ20869272

  • As with councils it’s takes time. I understand my neighbour has had a contact from the council but I’ve heard nothing at all. I understand for something such as this they have to go to quote Waiting .......!
