Drain at top of North Lane blocked and caused flooding at junction of North Lane/B430
Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 20:48, Saturday 27 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The drain at the top of North Lane is blocked and assume the pipe under the road which leads to the drainage ditch on the opposite side of the road is either broken or blocked as there was no water coming out of the pipe into the ditch (on the opposite side of the road) during the last spell of very heavy rain we had, despite the area at the junction of North Lane and B430 being flooded. The water drains away over time. Some work to the drain was carried out at the start of the year but there appears to be still an underlying issue. Many thanks for considering the issue again. PC
