Wooden footbridge repairs
Reported by Lynda Scott, Parish Clerk at 16:37, Fri 26 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
The wooden footbridge opposite Chestlion Lane in Clanfield is broken and unsafe. One of the wooden slats is broken and the handrail has become very loose. This is a well used footbridge across the brook and we would be grateful of your urgent attention. Thank you Clanfield Parish Clerk

As at 29 Aug 20 the repairs to the broken footbridge on Bourton Road are still outstanding (this is the second footbridge along on the right hand side of the road by the brook as you leave Clanfield for Black Bourton). This busy footbridge is unsafe and sits alongside a blind stretch of busy road renown for traffic ignoring the speed limits and already in need of replacement fencing along the footpath for pedestrian safety.
