Roadside housing estate is 40 mph

Reported anonymously at 10:27, Friday 26 June 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

The road directly outside of the new housing estate (and directly opposide my house) is set to 40 mph. I believe this is rather high considering residences have to walk on road to get to Didcot or to local shops by walking. I think a new speed limit should be set to 30 mph to help residence drive out of and in to the estate safely. Just after the estate by the Tesco roundabout is set to 30 mph so why not move it until it passes the estate on the other side. I realise this is a new estate and hope this has been or will be considered.
