Unsafe pavement
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 21:24, Thu 25 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I am writing this email in connection to an incident which occurred in Adderbury on new lane by the bridge on Tuesday the 23rd on June.
On my way home I came across a lady on a mobility scooter who had been thrown off of it because of the awful state of the pavement. It is already an extremely narrow pavement which didn’t help the situation but due to the large amounts of missing pavement and the height of the curb it meant it was an accident waiting to happen.
At any time an incident like this is not good but in the current circumstances the risks to the woman and those others involved (who had to lift her back up as she was unable to do so unaided) is greatly increased!
I hope you are able to resolve this matter
