Fitzharry's road Abingdon grass verges and paving slabs

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 14:03, Thursday 25 June 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is an issue with the reliability of grass cutting in Fitzharry's Road. The larger grass cutters are not cutting the area outside my property. Could this be because of the signpost about the humps. If so , Is it possible to re site this signpost,If not, please could you let me know whom I should best inform that there are continued problems regarding the mowing of this patch, I have sent san e mail regarding this before and would really benefit from a written reply explaining the situation. Please could you also advise me whether the council has a duty of care to the residents, passersby and school children in this street as the pavestones are uneven in places or cracked and grasses are growing up and around many of them. Does the council employ people to treat these weeds. Many neighbours here are older and not able to use chemicals confidently on what is a public fpavement. My mother is disabled, partially sighted, and has trouble( stumbling) walking with a rolator /walker along them . Please can you help?
