This footpath runs parallel with the service road properties at thexwaetern end of Wantage Road Far too many fail to maintain their gardens with some honourable exceptions. Their ignorance of their responsibilities forces walkers into this busy road.

Is it worth reporting these problems? OCCs ignorance says its a waste of our time and that these online reports are a pitiful element of window dressing.

Thank you for your report. Parts of this hedging do not have registered owners so there is no one we can chase. I have requested that the section that has not been cut back is added to the list for this type of work. I have also requested that this section of footway is sided out, to give as full a width as possible and have the moss removed, however all this work is funding dependent. There is access along this route by walking in front of nos 129 to 153. This report is now closed.
