30mph signs no longer required
Reported in the Road Markings category by Roz Smith at 13:41, Tue 23 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
There are two 30mph signs located on posts at the end of Bateman Street, Headington. These are backed by 20mph signs for drivers entering Bateman Street off Windmill Road. Windmill Road is to become a 20mph speed limit and works are underway now. Please can the old signs be removed? Residents are suffering from large lorries turning into Bateman Street, then on into Norton Close. A solution would be to have a lorry sign with a red line through it to indicate to drivers that the road is narrow and not suitable for the larger lorries,
