Zig Zag lines required
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 10:06, Thu 18 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 hour, 5 minutes later
Original reference Council ref: ENQ20866176 was closed before I responded. We would like zig zag lines around the entrance to Queen Emma's Primary School to alleviate the problem of parking on the main Burwell Drive. This is also a bus route for the S1 and S2 and often causes problems at dop off/pick up times. Many thanks
Council ref: ENQ20868015

Thank you for your 2nd report. This matter has already been passed to my colleague to look into. However, I am unable to confirm exactly when the road marking will take place, if approved, because the programme for the 2020/21 financial year was issued in April. If approved, this may have to wait until the 2021/22 finance year starting next April.

Having spoken to our Road Safety Team a member of staff either from that team or our Traffic Schemes team will be in touch with you. There will need to be a consultation, possibly with local residents and the County Councillor for your area, before anything further can happen.
