Road damage

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 11:17, Thursday 11 June 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

On the corner of wolvercote green the newly installed bollards were damaged by a lorry employed by the canal river trust who were working on the green near the plough pub.I went to the foreman and told him the damage and he said he would get it repaired. Nothing has been done and at the corner of godstow road and wolvercote green are the broken bollards and a load of highway signs. Please pick up and take away the signs and chase the River and canal trust and make them do the repair. When I saw the foreman he admitted it was his vehicle but when the work finished they just left

  • Thank you for your report. I have just checked and it seems that this corner is not part of the public highway. I am unsure who is responsible for the bollards on the corner of the green here. I suggest contacting your local Councillor for information. Sorry I cannot help further.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
