Degraded pavement
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 18:14, Wed 10 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
First reported this two years ago and was told it wasn't bad enough to justify anyone taking any interest in it. since then we have 40 new houses using the road and have the road dug up at least three times by various utilities. The pavement is now used by more parents taking kids to school but is just as degraded and dangerous as it was - also still prone to large puddles with the slightest rain. Previous complaint was closed so not sure if I am wasting my time but it would be a great and pleasant suprise if someone could actually do something about this before there is an accident.

As usual we are being ignored. More parents with young children from the new houses are using the road to walk to school. I guess we will only see action when someone has been injusred or killed because of the condition of the pavement and road.

Still no action or response. Not even a sense that anyone who should care actually gives a damn! Adverse camber and degraded pavement will lead to a potential for accident and injury - will it only be then that anyone actually does anything?
