Overgrown trees. Road markings non existent.
Reported in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 12:34, Sat 6 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This junction is now dangerous with over growing trees and no road markings. There are no road markings at the junction of Heathfield village making it very difficult to enter when drivers use the entrance as a lay by. Highways England have also been informed as he slip road has joint responsibility. This junction is really is an accident waiting to happen.

Incredibly, highways England cut back their part within two weeks. We are now noticing that people are using the area as a toilet facility due to the lack of road markings and overgrown trees. It becomes more dangerous daily at the slip road/B4027 as people struggle to see oncoming cars.

Congratulations, someone has cut the grass under the overhanging tree! There will soon be an accident at this junction as you cant see traffic approaching when leaving slip road. Still no road marking and the entrance to Heathfield now being used as a toilet. This area has not been touched in the eighteen years I’ve lived here. Total disgrace bearing in mind the money that is now being thrown at clearing cycle lanes and painting lines for cyclists.

Three months later and still no action. Par for the course until elections come around. What an utter shambles.

What a complete waste of time and effort. I now could not care less and only hope that this ‘New Normal’ reflects on employment within the county council. Bicycle lanes with no bikes major junction with no concern.
