Transition between old and new tarmac causes shockwaves to propagate to neighbouring properties when hit by heavy lorries

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 22:33, Wed 3 June 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

On the A40, westbound direction, approaching the cutteslowe roundabout, there’s a transition between old and new tarmac, the latter being a good inch higher than the old one. When heavy lorries are passing over it, they trigger vibrations and the neighbouring properties are shaking.
