Dangerous leaning tree
Reported via iOS in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 07:50, Tue 2 June 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Following the strong winds, there are two dangerously leaning trees opposite 121 Old Road. One has roots lifting and the other has severe stress splits in the trunk near the base. This riad is extremely popular with walkers and cyclists as well as cars and I fear that in further winds they may fall and injure somebody. They would definitely take out the telephone and electricity cables. There is also a tree next to them that has snapped at about 12 feet up but thankfully fell into the field and not the road.
