Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Road markings at the end of rainbow way onto mattock way, road repaired (poorly very loose gravel, cars slip) white give way lines never replaced. A slow sign needs to be put in place at the top of Mattock way and a hump or sign near the bend near rainbow way/ mattock way as cars and bikes drive too fast along this area. A child will be knocked over before long. Chalk paint was used by someone a few weeks back (5 weeks) marked SLOW this has helped to maybe this is all that's needed. Thank you for your report. Rainbow Way is situated within a development and its junction does not adjoin a main road, in this type of situation is common for junction markings to be omitted as vehicle approach speeds are slow, we have checked the personal injury accident history for the last five year period and can confirm that there have been no such accidents at this location. The District Council carry out street cleansing works and a request has been sent to them.
State changed to: Investigation complete
