Thank you for your report and please accept our apologies for the delay in response. The installation of a crossing is both a long and costly process which starts from a proven need, through a process of suitable design to full public consultation and, if successful, the necessary traffic regulation order being made. This is before any practical works can be started. In the first instance (and if you haven’t already) it is worth speaking with Chalgrove Parish Council as they are best placed to firstly identify if this is a priority for their area and, if so, are best placed to both promote and secure the necessary funding for such a scheme to be taken forward.
We hope this helps identify a means in which you are able to raise this matter for consideration.
