  • Although there is a paint marker around this rather large hole in the middle of the road to denote it has been seen by an engineer, it remains a safety issue, not just for road users and pedestrians, but also for wildlife. We have a healthy population of Hedgehogs in the area, and if one fell in it would be certain death. Being a protected species, and in decline, I would urge the council to treat this as an emergency. Not only could wildlife be impacted, it is also dangerous for cats because of the size and depth. I will contact the Hedgehog Preservation Society and RSPCA to advice them of this danger.

  • This sink hole has been left unrepaired for over a week and this is not really acceptable,

  • Why has this problem not been looked at yet?! It is a sink hole that is looking like it is going to create a bigger hole sometime very soon. It is a hazard to people and animals alike. If a small animal falls into this sink hole it will die a horrible death. PLEASE can this be treated as a priority. It has been a few weeks now and noting has been done. I will be in contact with animal welfare companies, and local press if this isn't acted on.
