Investigating
Larch Drive through route
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 21:36, Mon 25 May 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I originally reported: “ We get a lot of vehicles coming up Larch Drive expecting to be able to get to the Great Western Park development but the proposed bus gate stops them. Could we have a sign at the entrance saying no through road or a dead end sign?”
You responded: “ Dear resident, As part of the bus gate design, a sign is due to be erected in advance of the bus gate, to give motorists the chance to turn around before being faced with the restriction, this will be on Larch Drive around the junction with Willow End. Kind regards Road Agreements”
Unfortunately having the signage around Willow End is too late. We need a sign at the estate entrance to reduce traffic coming into the estate unnecessarily.

Hello
Could you please update me on this issue. The amount of vehicles coming down Larch Drive and then up Willow End looking for a route through is becoming ridiculous.

Could you please update this report? There have been lots of vehicles, including HGVs trying to get through this road block and this is dangerous extra traffic.
