Possible poor repair - Re-emerging dip in road again
Reported in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 12:37, Mon 25 May 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
After 2 years of asking we had the dip in this small section of the B4009 repaired about 3 weeks ago. It would appear there is a slight dip reappearing as marked on the attached photos. I freely admit I am no road engineer, but I have never seen a road crew look like they wanted to be somewhere else ?. The repair looked a hurried affair, and the tarmac was still steaming as the road was re-opened. Not 10 minutes later 2 great HGVs went steaming over (speeding as usual), followed no doubt by many more over the following hours and days. Please Please do not wait another 2 years to inspect it. Thank you.
