Zebra crossing light ring rotated on pole, not visible to drivers.

The ring of LED lights forming the Beleisha beacon on the east side of the zebra crossing is rotated on its pole. No longer square on to the road and as LEDs are very directional with only a narrow cone of visibility t byhose lights are not visible to drivers heading north.

The rhs beacon is not visible to drivers coming down the hill., making it difficult to see that there is a zebra crossing. Unlike the old-style pulsating globe light the ring of LEDs is very directional and needs to be aligned with the road.

Rule 19 of the highway code defines a zebra crossing as having lights. If only one set of lights is visible to drivers is it still a crossing?
