30mph VAS failed, A338 East Hanney

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The VAS marked as SRS1 has not worked for a year now, numerous reports have been made on here and direct to OCC highways. This VAS is over 15 years old and needs replacing with a modern equivalant. This device is required to reduce the speed of vehicles entering East Hanney from the North before they go through the pedestrian crossing.

  • Apologies with the updates for this one, it has been attended but looks to have failed again unfortunately. We are in the process of organising a replacement. There are also traffic calming projects in this vicinity being looked into , apologies again
