Lights on through the day
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 17:14, Sat 25 April 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The lights on the entry road to Aldi (off Botley Road) have been on continuously, even in the middle of the day.
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

Still open, via questionnaire, 17:34, Sat 23 May 2020
The lights do not have numbers assigned to them.

This is Oxford - there are 2 councils! PLEASE don’t operate as though Fix My Street is solely a matter for Oxfordshire County Council.. ..the City Council give planning permission and charge business rates..
PLEASE do the obvious and logical thing and mark this as passed to relevant section of Oxford City Council. (Yes, of course you hate them.. but that really is not the point.. This site was set up for citizens, not for petty behaviour from local authorities.)

I also now realise you edited my post on Fixmystreet — the main thrust of it was about dangers to pedestrians from overgrown hedges.. Why did you edit it? It was insufficiently focused? Yet you dismissed it entirely.. so you might as well have passed it to the city council unedited, yes?
One could get to hate petty / stupid bureaucrats.
