Cycle routeing requires an Advanced Stop Line/Area

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 18:33, Monday 13 April 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

Cycling west along the new Old Road south side footway cycle lane, the approach to the Churchill Drive junction is flawed. The "exit ramp" onto the carriageway deposits one precisely where the leading car in the inevitable queue of traffic is to be found. An "advanced stop area" is required here, preferably additionally with a "head start" cycle green light, as at Longwall Street.
