4 small gullies/drains blocked
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 13:28, Wed 8 April 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
The photos don’t really show the worst of the problem there are two small drains to the side of the property and two at the front these are blocked with soil and other things which means when we have a wet day or some one washes there car the water doesn’t run down the drain problem is the front ones mean that it can flood to the extent that it comes up are front path. I reported the problem before but I think you either looked at the wrong ones or you did nothing if we have to unblock them are self or our houses get flooded we will be looking at compensation.

Thank you for your report. From the photo this appears to be near no 14. I have checked the Highways maps that show what is deemed to be the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council, Highways and this responsibility ends at the section of footway after no 12 (as you are heading towards 13/14). As we do not hold records of third party land ownership I am unfortunately unable to help you further other than suggest contacting Land Registry who should be better able to advise/assist you. Their information can be found via https://www.gov.uk/ guidance/ contact-hm-land-registry which you will need to copy and paste into your search engine. They usually also have a phone number but this appears to not be in operation at the moment. This report is now closed.
