Street light not working

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 18:58, Sunday 22 March 2020 ; (there is no pin shown as the user did not use the map)

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

There’s a street light near the entrance of the garages off Balfour road (the garages to the back of Blay close houses) that’s not been working for about 6/8 months. Please can this be fixed, there’s no lighting in this area at all and it feels incredibly unsafe at night. We’ve also started noticing groups of hooded people hanging around this area at night looking suspicious, some decent lighting would hopefully act as a deterrent.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.
