Potholes on road

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:21, Friday 20 March 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

There are numerous potholes on the road outside our flat. Our car is parked near to the road in our bay. Cars on the street are most of the time speeding above the limit. Due to this combination of potholes, loose gravel and speeding our car window was smashed. There was no sign of vandalism and no items removed. This has come as an unexpected expense to us as we have both been layed off our jobs due to the corona virus. We will be struggling to pay to have this repaired.

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, the section of Eynsham Road, between Tilbury Lane and Rose Gardens. I have assessed it, but couldn't find the numerous potholes you refer to and hardly any loose gravel, see photos. This report, therefore, does not currently meet the criteria for intervention, so we will not be fixing at this time. I am therefore closing it.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
