Street Lamp too bright

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 09:06, Saturday 14 March 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

We have a street light on our house which lights up the T Junction at the top of Dyers Hill. Last year the light stopped working and was replaced by the new LED Warm White lights. However, these don't have the orange glow like the old ones did and are brighter. Consequently, despite black out blinds, it shines through the edges all night through. I spoke to the County Councillor Liz Leffman who suggested I contact you and ask for it to be put on a timer to go off at 2300. If that isn't possible then could the plastic surround be changed or painted with translucent orange paint so the light at night does not cause a disturbance to my husband and I and our little girl?
