Poor surface reinstatement on carriageway

Reported anonymously at 15:57, Thursday 12 March 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 3 minutes later

Outside the Bear and Ragged Staff Pub, 28 Appleton Road, Cumnor, has recently (2-3 weeks) had a contractor dig up the path and both lanes of the carriage way. The quality of the resurfacing works is extremely poor, with pit holes developing already.

The size of the pot hole would currently be below the action level. However I do not think the the level of workmanship is sufficient and the contractor should be told to come back and make good at there own cost. This will prevent the tax payer from having to pay for the rework.
